Mindful Meditation

This week our Magical Mornings mindfulness sessions started for Key Stage 2 children. 

 

The sessions have been designed to develop and encourage resilience, to give children the tools to help themselves into an emotional state ready to learn and promote a growth mind-set in a fun and engaging way.

 

The sessions provide Mindful tools that can be carried forward throughout life, building confidence and supporting children and adolescents to improve learning outcomes and recognise their full potential, whatever that may be.

 

The Mindful Meditation sessions have been thoughtfully designed with input from professionals, including Achievement for All school coaches, head teachers, teachers, teaching assistants, as well as parents and children and consist of meditation sessions covering topics such as:

 

·         Inclusion

·         Confidence

·         Positive Self Imagery

·         Fun and Happiness

·         Breathing Control

·         Focus

·         Empathy

·         Compassion

·         Relaxation for the mind and body

 

The children all really enjoyed the sessions and Miss Foreman is looking forward to working with them all again again next week.
