Forest School is a learning process that takes place in the outdoors and offers children an opportunity to engage with the natural woodland environment. Children are stimulated by the outdoors and overtime experience an increase in their self-belief, confidence, learning capacity, enthusiasm, communication, problem solving and emotional well-being.
At Jarrow Cross, children from Year 1 and Year 6 take part in Forest School sessions on Mondays and Fridays with Miss Wilcox and Mrs Malloy.
