Times Table Test
Ask someone at home to give you a times table test on your 9 times table and some of the 6 times table you found difficult last week. Don't forget to ask them to check your division facts too. e.g. 72 divided by 9. Ask them to read it out twice and then give you 5 seconds to answer for our rapid recall. Let me know your scores and remember to keep going on TTR - watch out for a battle starting very soon!
Main Lesson
Today, we are going to learn how to multiply 3 numbers together. You will learn that multiplication can be done in any order and that sometimes doing it in a particular order, makes it easier for us. Remember - we work smart, not hard!
For example
4 x 10 x 7 can be done much easier by doing 4 x 7 first and then multiplying it by 10.
