Stadium of Light Live Lesson with a 1:30pm prompt start

Due to technical errors where some parents couldn't access it, the instructions on how to access the lesson have be changed slightly. A member of staff has tested this out and it works so hopefully there will be no more technical errors.

Step 1: Go onto the Zoom website: Video Conferencing, Web Conferencing, Webinars, Screen Sharing - Zoom

Step 2: Click 'Join meeting'
Step 3: Type in the meeting ID ( see below)
Step 4: Press agree/ok
Step 5: Type in the password (see below)
You will then get a message on the screen which says 'Please wait for the host to let you in'. This means that it has worked but you may need to give them a few minutes to accept you into the lesson.

Alternative P.E. Lesson (you could do this in addition to the above lesson or if there are any technical issues)

Task

Shortly, you are going to attempt to join in with ‘Just Dance: Waka Waka-This Time for Africa (football version)’, where you will need to follow a sequence and steps.
For the parts that show a group sequence, just complete it on your own (unless you have others in the house who wish to join in, however, it really doesn’t matter).

This task will focus on your ability to perform in a sequence, follow instructions, hand and eye co-ordination and stamina.

Initially, simply watch the video and look at the different dance moves. Think about the pace (it is quite quick). Formulate a plan in your head to help you try and remember the sequence.

Watch the video again but this time, attempt to join in. Please don’t panic if the pace is too quick- just go with it!

Have a drink and reflect. Think about what you were proud of and what you could do next time to improve.

Now replay the video and try again. If somebody is at home, you could even challenge them.
