Stadium of Light Live Lesson with a 1:30pm prompt start 

 

Due to technical errors where some parents couldn't access it, the instructions on how to access the lesson have been changed slightly. A member of staff has tested this out and it works so hopefully there will be no more technical errors. 

 

Step 1: Go onto the Zoom website: Video Conferencing, Web Conferencing, Webinars, Screen Sharing - Zoom 

Step 2: Click 'Join meeting'
Step 3: Type in the meeting ID ( see below)
Step 4: Press agree/ok
Step 5: Type in the password (see below)
You will then get a message on the screen which says 'Please wait for the host to let you in'. This means that it has worked but you may need to give them a few minutes to accept you into the lesson.

For this session each child will need something to throw/roll e.g. a tennis ball or pair of socks. Children will also need some objects to use as bowling pins such as toilet rolls, plastic cups, cones etc. There is a resource attached which you can print out prior but it is not essential. You may also want to use it after the session. 

 

There is no expectation to send in any evidence of this lesson, however, feel fee to send in pictures and videos, should you wish. 

 

We are asking parents to put cameras on at the start of the call so we can monitor to ensure the correct people are present. If you then wish to turn the camera off due to safeguarding that is fine. 

Alternative P.E. Lesson (you could do this in addition to the above lesson or if there are any technical issues)

Main lesson

We had such good feedback from this activity from last week that we have another for you to try out from Just Dance from . Click here to access the lesson. Do you have THE POWER! Don't forget to get your adults at home to join in. You can do the activity more than once, but you might want a quick minute rest between the dances. 

 

Cool down

Remember to cool down and stretch after any exercise. Here is a good way to do it.
