Spellings

Please find this week's spellings below, they are a recap of prior learning:

 

Y4: treasure, pleasure, picture, creature, capture, measurement, leisurely, busy, forward, occasion

Y5: terrible, sensible, horrible, possible, incredible, impossible, invisible, rhythm, bruise, harass

 

You or your child can choose how they want to learn/practise their spellings. You could still use activities from previous weeks as a guide. 
 

These words are from the national curriculum and cover words pupils frequently use in writing or which are commonly misspelled. 

On a Friday, test your child - this can be completed orally and it does not have to be recorded. Also, you do not need to send in evidence of any spelling tasks either.
