For your last lesson of maths for this week, you will complete an arithmetic paper.

We have completed these many times before in school so it will not be something new to you. However, there may be some questions on the paper that we still have not covered yet. For these questions, you can either have a go at them or miss them out if you are really stuck. I would suggest that you give it a go – you never know you might get it correct!

Here are a few points to consider:

  • Remember to show all of your working out.
  • Try and answer each question.
  • Read each question carefully – especially the problem-solving questions.
  • Think about the more efficient or sensible way to calculate the answer.
  • Take your time – it is not a race!

This paper is to practise maths skills that you already know.

I have attached the arithmetic paper below. It has been uploaded as a word document and also a pdf. You can either type in the boxes provided for your answer on the word document, print off the paper or you can write your answers in your book.

There are 28 questions in total for you to answer – make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to see them all.
