Today we will be looking at another type of graph called a bar chart.  This is when coloured bars are used to represent data (information) instead of pictures. We will be learning to interpret (read) these types of graphs.

After that, complete the worksheet below. 

Extension: Why not have a go at drawing your very own bar chart. As you did for the tally chart, you could either collect your own data, or find some simple data on the internet to display on your bar chart.  You could either print the graph template provided, or draw your own in your workbook.
