Welcome to Day 2 of our Topic Week


Today, it's all about the Olympics. You are going to compete against yourself or members of your household in your very own Olympics, but first we are going to look at the history of the Olympics and compare it the modern day Olympics..


First, you can watch this Horrible Histories video on the Ancient Olympics - be warned, there's a gross fact included! 


Task 1 - Research the history of the Olympics

We are going to look at Ancient versus Modern day Olympics

Read the facts on the PowerPoint/PDF and then complete the Venn Diagram. You can simply draw round a plate to make your circles. You do not need to print out.  Can you add any other facts?
