Today's work will focus on subtracting two 3-digit numbers involving one exchange/ borrowing.
This is a recap lesson and isn't new learning, however, if you need further support, contact the Distance Learning email.
You MUST always remember to place the biggest/highest valued number on the top, when completing column subtraction. If a digit on the top valued number has a lower value than the digit on the bottom value, you must then borrow/exchange.
Begin by watching this video of Miss Elcoate explaining the steps of column subtraction: https://youtu.be/75Vu7hDA-WU
