Yesterday in maths, we looked at finding the area of triangles.
Today, we are going to develop our learning further by using our problem solving and reasoning skills to answer questions.
Remember, to calculate the area of a triangle, you need to multiply the height by the width (this is also known as the ‘base’) then you need to divide by 2.
h x w ÷ 2
When problem solving, the questions are not always going to be easy. They are there to challenge you and to develop your learning further.
Think about each question carefully. Then, reason and explain your answering using your working out to prove your answer.
Your questions for today are on the word document below. You can either type your answer in the boxes provided or you can write your answers in your exercise book.
