Today we are going to find out how you did with your story predictions.

Activity 1:  Romulus and Remus

Look at the attached power point and read the story.

Were any of your predictions correct?

Activity 2:

King Amulius ordered his servant to take the twins to the River.  You are now the servant, so get into role!  You have an awful decision to make.

Write in role as the servant:

What will happen if you do put the babies in the river?  What will the consequences of this action be?

What will happen if you do not do as Amulius has ordered?  What will the consequences of this action be?

Finally, after you have written in role as the servant and what will happen if you do or don’t put the babies in the river, you need to make your final decision as to what you are going to do.  Have you decided to put them in the river or not?  Can you explain why you have reached this decision?

Remember to write in well-structured sentences. Extend your sentences with subordinating conjunctions to add more information (because, as well as, so, before, while, then, if).
