World Book Day is Thursday 4th March and this year we will be participating just like any other!

Watch Miss Elcoate A.K.A. Gangsta Granny perform a rap to the story she stars in: CLICK HERE

We are celebrating poetry and we want everyone to get involved. Your challenge is to send us a video of you performing some poetry!

You might write your own poem, you could recite a poem that you love or one you've just come across, you can perform on your own, with your family or even in costume - anything goes!

On the page below are videos and links to websites where you can learn about how to perfect your poetry performance.

Spend some time reading the fantastic poetry which can be found online, or you might have some poetry books of your own at home which you can use. Most importantly we want to see you having fun, experimenting with words, rhyme or rhythm and inspiring your classmates to get involved too.

Send your video recordings in from next Monday (1st March) through the distance learning email, and we will share as many as we can on the school website.
