This month we have continued our exciting topic in English regarding dragons. We made a magical potion as a class to create a dragon. We then wrote our own instructions including imperative verbs, adverbs and rhetorical questions. The children were able to use some very interesting adjectives to create imagery in their writing.

We have followed instructions to create some amazing clay dragon eyes. We are confident that you will most impressed with the finished products.

During history, we have continued to study the Tudors and in particular Henry VIII. We have looked at Henry’s portraits by Hans Holbein and critiqued his art work.

Welcome everybody, we have had an amazing start to the new school year and have focused on a wonderful text,  Our Class is a Family.  The children have created class rules of their own and made promises to ensure that we are encouraging one another and building each other up.

This year we have so much to look forward to.  We will be learning all about the Tudors in our history lessons throughout the autumn term.  In the spring we will be studying space and we will end the year learning all about extreme environments.  We have such an enriching and interesting curriculum to look forward to.  We are confident that your children will enjoy their time at school.
