Letter to Parents from Mrs McBeth 26.3.21

Dear Parents/ Carers,
I hope you are all well. I just want to take this opportunity to share with you various information in the lead up to the Easter holidays.
Firstly, Children who are entitled to Free School Meals will receive a voucher before the Easter holidays. This is a one off £25 voucher which has been funded from the council's Covid Winter Grant Scheme fund. We will contact you next week regarding picking up your vouchers from the school office.
Next week we will still be holding our Free Food Friday, but obviously as we finish school on Thursday it will take place on Thursday 1st April instead! It has been well restocked, and may be really helpful for the Easter holidays so please come along and fill a bag.
During the Easter Holidays the Council are providing many activities to keep everyone busy, including walking trails, brand new Easter holiday TV and recipe ideas to help keep families happy, healthy and entertained during the holidays. For more information, simply visit the South Tyneside Council Website and search Easter Holiday Club.
Finally, some lovely news to share with you. Our very own Miss Elcoate has been nominated in the #LoveSouthTynesideAwards in recognition of all her hard work in supporting our school community and beyond during the last year. I am sure that you will agree it is so well deserved and join with me in congratulating her. As you can imagine we are all ever so proud of her.
At the end of what has certainly been a difficult term draws to an end, can I again thank you for all of your support and here is hoping for a much brighter time ahead.
