Physical Education
Intent
It is our intent that our PE curriculum provides opportunities for pupils to become physically confident in a way which supports their health and fitness, builds character and helps to embed values such as fairness and respect. They will cultivate competence in a broad range of activities developing agility, balance and coordination through engaging in individual activities and competitive team sports and learn the importance of leading healthy, active lives.
Implementation
Impact
We use formative assessment to measure the impact of our Physical Education curriculum, which is recorded and monitored on a tracking system. Evidence of learning and experiences can be found through video/photography and through conversations with our children. The PE lead monitors the teaching and evidence of the subject through observations of lessons and conversations with the staff team.
