Mathematics
Intent
It is our intent that our children, as mathematicians, become fluent in the fundamentals of mathematics so that they develop conceptual understanding and the ability to recall and apply knowledge rapidly and accurately. They also develop reasoning skills and learn how to solve problems by applying their mathematics to a variety of problems with increasing sophistication, including breaking down problems into simpler steps and persevering in finding solutions.
