Election day!
At Jarrow Cross we take democracy seriously.
We took part in an election to vote for a new member of school council to represent each class. Part of the role involves: organising projects, worships for whole school events and developing links with the local community.
Another role they are taking on is being a 'health champion' for our school where they will work closely with the You, Me and the World lead to help organise events such as: mental health week, refugee week, anti-bullying and many others.
Members elected:
The votes had been counted and our new school council members are:
Year 3/4 = Unzilah, Ted and Isla;
Year 5 = Amelia and Theo;
Year 6 = Charlotte and Ruby.
