Reception Stay and Play

Reception put on a wonderful Autumn performance for their grown ups. They retold the story of Owl Babies using the Talk 4 Writing actions that they have been learning this half term. They also recited a poem about Autumn leaves, as well as singing Dingle Dangle Scarecrow and The Leaves on the Trees.

After the performance, the children met and held a real owl! They were all amazed at our surprise visitor. They then returned to the setting to take part in Autumn crafts with their families.
