Strike Action - Classes in school
Dear Parents/Carers,
You may be aware from media coverage that NEU Teaching Union have declared strike action, the first of which are taking place on Wednesday 5th and Friday 7th July. The strike is happening because of a national dispute between the unions and the government and not because of any issues at our school.
I’m getting in touch to confirm that the following classes:
Reception Mrs Peacock’s class
Reception Mrs Armstrong’s class

Y1R
Y2 Mrs Wilson’s class
Y3/4 Miss Elcoate’s class
Y5T
Y5G
Y6S
Y6W
will be open as usual on Wednesday 5th and Friday 7th July. Please send your child into school as normal. Please note that Breakfast Club will also be running as usual.
