Happy New Year!

Dear Parents,

I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and I hope the new year has started well for you all.

Yesterday was certainly not the start of the year which we would have wanted and I thank you all for your patience. Thankfully the boiler is now working and long may this continue!

As always this term will be a busy one. We will be holding Parent/Teacher discussion sessions later in the term (more details to follow), we will be holding events in the lead up to Easter and of course children will be taking part in the usual educational visits and PE events. After School Clubs will also be starting within the next few weeks, brochures will be sent home ASAP.

Due to the generosity of so many of you before the Christmas break our Food Bank is well stocked and will be available to use as usual on Friday. We have also received the following information from the council which may be of help to families.

In respect of the impact of the Cost of Living Crisis on Children, Young People and their families please see the links below to local Warm Spaces and Food Banks

Can I remind parents if you wish your child to receive milk this term’s payments must be made by Friday 3rd February 2023.

Last term, as all schools, a lot of our children were unfortunately very poorly with a variety of illnesses. Although good attendance is clearly a priority for us and we are certainly hoping for a much healthier term, if your child is poorly with any flu like symptoms or tummy bugs please keep them at home.

Kind Regards,

Mrs McBeth
