Letter to Children from Mrs McBeth 12.6.20

To the Children of Jarrow Cross,
I hope you are all well and keeping busy. I am super busy at the moment writing on all of your reports. I hope you didn’t think you were getting away with not having one this year!
Some of the Reception children came back this week and have been having a lovely time. We are looking forward to seeing some of our Year 1 children on Monday, the teachers have planned lots of lovely activities for them too.
I know some of you will have heard on the news this week that not all year groups are going to be able to return to school before September. We are really sad that we are not going to see a lot of you soon and we are going to have a good think about how we can carry on keeping in touch with you all.
Some of you have been working so hard at home, so we thought it was only right that your hard work should be recognised. We have a new Home Learning Certificate which teachers are busy sending out in the post so keep busy!
I hope this awful rain stops soon and you are able to get outside a little bit more.
