Letter to Children from Mrs Mcbeth 26.6.20

                                                                                                    Friday 26th June 2020

To the Children of Jarrow Cross,

Wow well what a hot week it has been I hope you have managed to enjoy the beautiful sunshine!

Well it has certainly been busier in school this week. Some of our Year 6 children came back on Monday. It was lovely to see them and they have certainly grown. They loved their hoodies and wouldn’t take them off even when it was boiling!

I am sure you will have heard that from September school can open for everyone!! We are so happy about this. We don’t know all of the details yet, but hope to see you all in September.

The next two weeks’ home learning is our “Virtual Fitness Fortnight”. Because we are missing our sports day this year, we thought it would be nice to set up a virtual one for you all to take part in.  There will be information on the website on Monday in the new Virtual Fitness Fortnight area in the parent’s section. This will tell you all about a different fitness challenge for you to take part in each day. There will also be a video clip in which Mr Taggart and Mrs Watson will show you what to do, as you can imagine they are now super fit! You can send your results in to school by email and we would love to see videos and photographs of everyone having a go! Everyone at school is taking part too and will be awarding medals and certificates to those of you at school and at home.

Have a lovely weekend. I hope the sun keeps shining. Remember BE KIND and look after each other.

Take care,

Mrs McBeth
