  • I couldn’t be happier with the learning, care and support my child experiences whilst at school. Thank you
  • Great teachers and welcoming
  • The school continues to provide a wonderful place for children of all abilities to thrive
  • This is the 2nd child I have had go through the school and the school cannot do enough for its pupils. The teachers go above and beyond for every pupil.
  • Fantastic school, friendly caring staff. My children love coming here.
  • The school has a lovely and nurturing ethos and environment. The teachers are caring and the children feel secure and supported in their learning.
  • Brilliant school, excellent teachers and always there if you need support whether it’s for yourself or your family.

The above are just a very small selection of the positive comments which were made by parents. As always we are so very grateful for your support. We continue to be overwhelmed by the support we receive from our school community. If anyone would like a full breakdown of the questionnaire including all comments simply pop into the office to collect a copy.

For obvious reasons the questionnaire was anonymous, however we would urge any parent who has an issue with any part of school life to contact us directly if you would like to discuss it further.

This term promises to be a very busy one. Our Year 6 children are taking their end of year SAT’s during week beginning 9th May for which we obviously wish them the very best of luck.

We will be celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this term. More information regarding how you can become involved will follow soon. This term we hope to invite you all into school to view your child’s work and take part in activities alongside your child. It is such a long time since we have been able to do this that we are looking forward to opening our doors again! Also we will be holding our usual Sports Day etc, again more information regarding dates will follow soon.

  • If you have not already done so and wish your child to have milk this term, the final date for payment is Tuesday 3rd May. The cost is £9.10.
  • After School club applications are currently being processed and you will be informed via text if your child has a place at their chosen club on Friday 6th May.
  • Regarding the information which was sent out yesterday about the parking consultation for Borough Road if you have not already done so I would urge you to email your views to
  • Please remember if you are having a clear out school has a clothing bank at the front entrance, this can be used at any time.

I hope you all enjoy the forthcoming Bank Holiday weekend and we will see you back at school on Tuesday 3rd May. Finally, just a quick reminder to you all that this half tem school closes on Thursday 26th May and children return to school on Tuesday 7th June.

Have a good weekend,
