Letter to Parents from Mrs McBeth 31.3.21

Dear Parents/Carers,

I am writing to inform you of a slight change within the leadership of Jarrow Cross next term.

I have been asked to support as Headteacher at Simonside Primary School throughout the next term as their Headteacher is retiring on Thursday. This will be from Monday 19th April until Friday 23rd July 2021. I realise this is very short notice, but this is something which has only been discussed with myself and the Local Authority during the last week and is purely a short-term solution until their new Headteacher begins her role in a full time capacity in September.

The arrangement will be that I will spend two and a half days a week here at our school and two and half days a week at Simonside Primary. During the time I am at Simonside Mr Taggart will be Acting Head Teacher. I have no doubt as is always the case you will show him your full support.
