At Jarrow Cross we take democracy seriously.
We took part in an election to vote for a new member of school council to represent each class. Part of the role involves: organising projects, worships for whole school events and developing links with the local community.
Another role the new school council are taking on is becoming a 'health champion' for our school. They will work closely with the You, Me and the World lead to help organise events such as: mental health week, refugee week, anti-bullying and many others.
The names of the children who were elected were revealed in Friday's worship:
Y3/4 = Unzilah, Ted and Isla
Y5 = Amelia and Theo
Y6 = Charlotte and Ruby
Well Done!
