Strike information - classes not in school

Dear Parents/Carers,

As you will have heard on the media the NEU are again holding strike action on Wednesday 5^th and Friday 7^th of July. As I informed you previously the strike is happening due to a national dispute between the unions and the government.

I’m getting in touch to give you as much notice as possible about our arrangements for 5^th and 7^th July. Teaching staff are not all members of the same union, therefore, I must inform you that school will be closed for children who are in the following classes:

Y2 Mrs Watson

Y3/4S

Y3/4M

Please note the 100% attendance of any child in any of the above classes will not be affected by not being in school that day.

If your child is entitled to a to Benefit Related Free School Meal, packed lunches will be available to be picked up from the school office at 12 o’ clock on the day of the strikes. However, I am sure you will understand that they must be ordered so if you would a like a lunch provided for your child please complete and return the form below by Monday 3^rd July.
