Year 2's Victorian Day
Year 2 had an amazing experience pretending to be children from the Victorian Era. With the help of parents, we made a replica of a Victorian toy after the children put on a brilliant singing performance for parents and carers. In the afternoon, we used slates to write on, did drill, which is what they called PE and used chalks as though we were using blackboards to do some art. We drew lighthouses. The teachers carried around canes and we even tried on the dunce's cap... just for fun of course.
