Rotary Junior Technology Tournament.

On Thursday some of our Y3/4 children took part in the Rotary Junior Technology Tournament. They had fun investigating forces.

Our Reception enjoyed a trip out to the Beacon of Light at Sunderland AFC for a special nursery rhyme themed sports afternoon. They took part in a huge range of activities, including a nursery rhyme hunt, dance, football, chasing games and they even met Samson the Sunderland AFC mascot! The children were excellent representatives of Jarrow Cross throughout the afternoon, and were all exhausted when they got on the coach back to school!

Children In Need 2019

We have had fun coming to school in our PJs to raise money for Children In Need! Well Done to Layla who won our huge Pudsey Bear.
FAB Awards

Today, we received two awards at the FAB Award event: an Anti-Bullying and Inclusion award.

We received the Anti-Bullying award for all of our hard work regarding promoting Anti-Bullying strategies.

We received the inclusion award for the hard work from our school council (2018/2019) creating packs for EMTRAS to ensure refugees, in our local community, feel welcome!
A big thank you to Isabelle, Juliet, Ethan and Sophia who presented an activity (snowball effect), during the awards. They even got the audience involved- check you all out!
