Young Sports Leaders Award

Well done to our Young Sports Leaders on completing their initial training at Hebburn Central this week.
Reception Stay and Play

Reception put on a wonderful Autumn performance for their grown ups. They retold the story of Owl Babies using the Talk 4 Writing actions that they have been learning this half term. They also recited a poem about Autumn leaves, as well as singing Dingle Dangle Scarecrow and The Leaves on the Trees.

After the performance, the children met and held a real owl! They were all amazed at our surprise visitor. They then returned to the setting to take part in Autumn crafts with their families.
Harvest Festival

Thank you for all of your kind food donations which have been given to Hebburn Helps. The donations will help local people in our Community. Well done to Year 1 and the School Choir for their fantastic Harvest Festival Performance!

Reception Visit Jarrow Library

Reception A walked to the library at Jarrow Focus. Many of the children were visiting the library for the very first time. After a special story time with Catherine the librarian, the children took part in craft activities linked to the story they had heard. They were then able to look at all of the children's books, enjoy some time reading together and select a book each to bring back to school to enjoy in class. The children are already looking forward to returning to the library next half term for more stories and activities.
