Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
The children have had a well deserved, excellent day in Newcastle and seeing St James' Park. We saw the changing rooms, the huge pitch from a birds eye view and we ran through the players tunnel!
Key Community Bus Route
Key 2 life is a charity based in South Shields working across South Tyneside. We were awarded funding for a new community bus project recently and this enabled us to be able to convert a double decker bus which will be driving to different locations within South Tyneside on a daily basis and parking up for a few hours in the hope of helping those people within the local communities. Downstairs there will be a shop selling good quality fresh fruit and vegetables, packet, tinned, and non-perishable food and non-food and hygiene items, baby wipes, milk and nappies for very low prices in the hope of helping individuals/families money to go further, reduce waste and lower the need for the number of people attending food banks which is at an all-time high. All money made from this project feeds back into the charity and food bank we run in South Shields.

Year 2 had a fabulous time at the multiskills tournament today. We had lots of exciting games and activities to do which were led by some of the children from Jarrow School. Some of the activities included Sleeping Santa, Head Elf, Snowball Target Throw and many others, which were all Christmas based.
KS1 had a lovely time at the pantomime to see The Enchanted Snow Globe.
In the season of Advent and the lead up to Christmas we are thinking about being kind to each other. Check out below all of our acts of kindness which we will be taking part in throughout December.
'Everyone can be Santa'
We had great fun playing out in the snow today!
