Exploring our 300 new books-thanks to Puffin!

Earlier this week, we shared that we have 300 new books for our class reading areas, due to now being a Puffin World of Stories/Reading for Pleasure school.

We announced in worship the fantastic news and shared the books across the school, children were then given the chance to explore the new titles before they added them into the reading areas.

They are already such a huge hit with the children and they are incredibly grateful!

Year 4/5E visited the library and listened to a member of staff read a story! Also, we all got to borrow books to read in class!

What exciting news we have for all of the children here at Jarrow Cross! 300 new, amazing books from Puffin World of Stories have just been delivered to the school for our reading areas!

Tomorrow, the books will equally be shared out to each class, children will then spend time exploring the new books before they are added into the reading areas!

We have received the books due to taking part in the Puffin World of Stories as we are soon to become a Reading for Pleasure school!

Thank you so much Puffin for our amazing collection of books, we can't believe the quality of them all- awesome!
